I see so many people asking how to transition from breastmilk to regular milk. Do I have to do that when the times comes? I figured breastmilk would still be better than other milk.

No. It’s best to give breastmilk for as long as possible, but at least up to a year, but not necessary to give milk from other mammals. I’m highly against cows milk. It’s horrible for humans and a very inflammatory food. All the hormones and the processing it goes through.....the vitamin d is actually added, it’s all been a very clever marketing strategy to convince us that cows milk is a health food.

No you don’t need to go to other milk at all. My son went from breastmilk straight to water. He has only ever drunk breastmilk straight from the breast or water from a straw bottle :)

We did because we had to switch to formula at 6 months for health reasons. Switching to regular milk was easy for us thankfully (and costs less than formula 😅). But many women breastfeed for longer than a year for multiple reasons. Do what works best for you and your baby 💕
