A bit of a scare!

So we’re on vacation right now and I started bleeding around dinner time last night. I went to the bathroom and the toilet bowl had blood and when I wiped t was bright red. I was TERRIFIED!! I’m 8 weeks. I called my dr and she said to go to the ER so we did. Spent 5 hours there 🙄 but we got to see our little jelly bean!! Heart rate was 155 and everything looked perfect. Turns out I have a small subchorionic hematoma that’s causing the bleed but everything else is perfect.

I’m sharing this so people know that some bleeding, even bright red, can be totally normal!! Of course I thought the worst and thought it was over for me but everything is fine! The dr said we did the right thing by going and checking.

Now to relax and actually enjoy this vacation!
