This is gonna be long but worth reading !!!

So a little more helpful info.

Im 38+3 and was supposed to be induced this Sunday at 6am

My due date was 8.18.18

So Tuesday morning 4am i started off having contractions that were about 20 mins apart maybe even longer . They just felt like regular period cramps so i didn’t call my doctor or anything .

My husband at the time was on a 24 hour shift for his job ( he is in the military ) so he said he wouldn’t be home until 9 if it gets worse we will go to the hospital . So anyway a fee hours go by and he comes home i told him since i had a appointment at 3:00 i would just tell them about my pain since they weren’t getting closer together or stronger.

Around 11am the contractions started getting closer together and a lot stronger than what they were . They were about every 5 mins now. But I’m still hanging in until my doctors appointment .

So around 1:30 i was sitting on my floor and all of a sudden a gush of water came out . I got up and ran to the bath room , my underwear was completely soaked and when i wiped there was a tint of blood colored to it . So i woke up my husband and we went to the hospital .

Once we get to the hospital we went right up to labor and delivery and they put us in the triage . I was put on the monitors and they checked my cervix and everything . The midwife who did it all said my water never even broke and that i probably wont be going into labor for about 48 hours . So she said my cervix was only 3-4 centimeters dilated and that they only have people stay if they are 6. And she sent us home and told us to come back if the contractions are 1-2 minutes apart or the contractions stay about 5 mins apart for 2 hours . Before i left i used the bathroom and when i came out i noticed there was a little blood so i asked one of the nurses who was in the triage if that was normal . And she said completely normal to bleed after a cervix check . ( now remember that because she felt like shit )

SO me and my husband are on our way home after being in the hospital for like 3 hours just to get told to go home . As we are driving home from the hospital i had BAD contractions the entire way home! None like i ever experienced . The midwife told me before we left that i should go home and rest take Tylenol extra strength and get some Benadryl to help me sleep. So my husband drops me off at home and runs to store down the road to go get me the medicine .

As me and my husband are walking out the bitch at the front desk was like “see you Sunday” in such a bitch voice it made me so mad .

As soon as i got inside i started a bath to try and sooth the contractions . So as the bath was running i went pee again. And this time i was gushing out blood . The entire toilet was covereddd !!! So i hopped right in the bath and blood was just coming out . Im waiting for my husband to get back with the medicine . And I’m losing so much blood i start getting light headed

AS IM IN THE TUB , i felt my stomach do a weird push thing . I didn’t think of anything because i was told I’m only 3-4 cm dilated . My husband gets home and finds me pretty much passed out in the bath tub that it looked like a murder scene from the bath tub with all the blood .He drags me out and i wake up . He told me to get dressed and go we are going back to the hospital . As im getting dressed he is trying to call the hospital telling them what happened and NOT ONE PERSON ANSWERS THE PHONE FOR ABOUT ! HE TRIED CALLING FOR 15 MINS!!!

We get our bags all ready to go and these contractions just were getting worse and worse. Im still leaking so much blood at this point i could barley focus on what i was doing because i was so light headed .

My husband gets me to the car and i told him put me in the back seat so i can lay down. I passed out about 3 times from losing so much blood and the pain. We are about 10 mins away from the hospital now . And i tell my husband the baby is fucking coming I’m pushing. I couldn’t not push because my body was doing what it was made to do! As i was pushing i could feel her just moving down and down . At this point i felt so weak and was in so much. My husband thought i was going to die right there . He pulls up to the emergency area and runs inside for someone to come get me . I was passed out at this point so i don’t remember getting out of the car . I woke up a few seconds later and the nurse was patting my face saying “honey wake up honey wake up” and she was running me down the hallway in a wheel chair . And then i remember my eyes starting closing and when i woke up again i had just got my ivy in . I looked up and there was about 10 nurses hovering on top of me . They started putting the monitors on my stomach and they had a hard time finding my baby girls heartbeat. I was freaking out inside my head . Me and my husband just looked at each other and just prayed .

Finally they found it .

Not to long after that the doctor came in and said the baby’s head is right there . I fucking knew she was coming !

I was still so lightheaded and i was just begging for medicine for the pain and they just kept telling me no its to late . So i had to go ALL NATURAL! ( which i thought i would never)

I started to push for 10 mins maybe less and my baby girl came out so perfectly . That natural birth is no joke . All i had was a first degree rip and 5 stitches . Im still in complete shock that at having my first baby at 19 i did natural .

My husband said i didn’t cry or scream i looked like it didn’t even hurt at all , and he’s so proud of me for how i went through labor and delivered her .
