Am I doing the right thing?

So I kicked my fiancé out of my house last night and I figured he would be able to stay at his grandmas or dads but he texted me telling me he slept in his car and none will let him stay there. We have a son together so this is really tough I feel terrible kicking my fathers son out on the street like this, but he has a very bad drinking problem and I know if I let him move back in nothing will change. But what if when our son is older he tells him how bad I treated him and how it was all my fault? Am I doing the right thing?

Firstly unless you’ve been abusive mentally or physically you have not treated him badly so never let him make you feel that way. What you have done you have done it for you and your son living and been related to someone with a drinking problem is hell I cut ties with my father for drinking problems and I never looked back, your son will see this when he is older trust me he will see his dad drinking and think is this all our life is going to be because I thought exactly that and I only saw my dad 3 times a year on his terms, your son will never hate you when he knows you done it for his benefit and he’ll see through lies, I hope you manage to find the peace of mind from this situation but if you feel that’s the best thing for now don’t give in don’t let him guilt trick you, if you enable his behaviour he’ll never change and if he still doesn’t change after this it just shows he never had the intention to change anyways and then you can make the choice if you’ll move on completely or not, good luck mama but stand your ground

I would rather my son be safe,  and not have to watch that take place,  with the drinking problem.  I would have done the same thing.  he needs to get help,  and I bet the reason why no one wanted him to stay with them is because they are tired of his drinking too.  he cam either get help or stay out.
