Hydrocodone while pregnant

Hey mamas!

So I had a tooth pulled this morning, and have a severe infection, they prescribed antibiotics and also gave me 4 hydrocodone. My dentist knew I’m 20 weeks pregnant, my hubby was a little iffy that they prescribed that, when at the pharmacy i double checked and the pharmacist even did some extra research and said because theres only 4 pills It should be fine. The only concern if I was in the first or third trimester and was taking it by the handfuls.

Everything on google is for long term use, but I want to know if anyone has any experience of just taking a few and their baby being okay?

Ive already taken 2, but obviously I’m still a little nervous! Ease my mind!
