At what age did you pierce your baby’s ear ?

Mine was on oxygen since birth because she was a preemie but now she is 13 months and she is officially off for good we usually get our baby ear pierce at 3 months .?

I will wait until she is old enough to ask me to get them pierced and have the responsibility of taking care of that herself with cleaning it and such. I got mine done in 5th grade.

i say when they’re 3-5 months because at that time they don’t really know they’re there. when they get older they will mess with them and cause issues.

I did my daughter’s at 2 months. I would recommend after their first vaccinations but before 6 months. When they are little they won’t touch them or pull them out. They just are normal because they’ve always had them.

My step mom pierced my ears when I was 4 and because my ears grew, now the hopes are in seriously a bad spot. Not centered at allll. It is so depressing, something I am very self conscious about. For that reason, I’m gonna make sure my kids ears have grown a good amount before piercing them as you never know how growth will effect the placement.

My baby's doctors office pierced hers at 6 months. Call the doctors office to see if they do them there.

I have boys (but the rule would be the same if I had girls). They can get their first ear piercing when they get into Middle School. They need to be able to ask for it, understand why it is not my decision what is done to their body, and take care of them on their own. Additionally, we go to the parlor and have it done with a needle.
