Anyone have a D&E instead of D&C?

I had an emergency D&E; this afternoon, how much did you bleed with a D&E....is; it typically more than a D&C;?

I thought they were the same what's the difference I had a D&C; done

Yep I had DE they tend not to use curettage anymore as it’s more aggressive. DE isn’t likely to damage you. 
I didn’t bleed much after. I did immediately coming round from surgery there was blood in my bed but after that it was less than a period and lasted 1-2 days.
