Never given head but want to...

I've been with my SO for almost 8 years and I have yet to do this for him. He's gone down on me plenty, but I can't get out of my own head enough to get myself to just DO IT. I'm intrigued by it and I get excited thinking about it but I just can't get past that mental barrier. He's the best and has been so so patient with my insecurities which is another reason why I want to do it for him!

Anyone else ever dealt with something similar? Tips? Advice?
