How to not feel inferior. New SAHM

So being honest, my paycheck used to be over $3K per month. With the career I had as a special education teacher, that was pretty good. Being a young childless wife I spent a lot of money on us and not saving. Now that I have decided to be a SAHM I feel inferior to my husband. Like, did I really choose to play all day instead of work and contribute to our finances? I keep telling myself our son is more important than money... But having to ask for money from my husband has me up at 4AM. I am working three "jobs" from home, but it isn't nearly as much as I made working part time last year. I just feel so guilty. Also being honest and transparent... my husband makes $80k per year. This should be plenty for the three of us, but we live in one of the most expensive economies in the US. Can anyone give me some perspective? Why did you choose to be a SAHM? Did I do the right thing?
