3 month old soft spot?

Yesterday my mil went to lift my baby in the kitchen and hanging from the ceiling was a rack of pots. My babies head hit one of the pots pretty hard. He didn’t cry or even flinch and has been totally fine ever since. However when I feel the top or his head where his soft spot is, it goes in a tiny bit and is soft. I know it’s supposed to curve inwards. I can’t see it bc he has so much hair. I was thinking of bringing him into his pediatrician tomorrow just to calm my nerves. Could something like this actually do something to his soft spot? Would he show any other symptoms?
