The Talk
My daughter is 8 going on 9in Nov. I don’t want to do what my mom did to me when learning about my period. She basically gave me a book (that I didn’t read) and left me to figure it out on my own. I want to have the talk with my daughter soon, but is 9 too soon? Also, suggestions on how to make her feel comfortable about talking to me about it? I don’t want my daughter to feel shameful or embarrassed. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
