Weight gain
So I gained like 20 lbs in about six weeks. I didn’t gain at all in the first tri. Just one measly pound. My mom passed away and I started eating my feelings, not to mention I was ravenously hungry. I stayed in bed all the time upset. When I went to the doctor at 21 weeks, I was 176, up from 156 last Dr visit. Totally ashamed. My commitment to controlling my weight came then. I stopped eating my feelings, not ever going over 2200 calories even eating out, and I feel really good about myself. I eat what I want, I just watch it, and make sure to control my carbs because I can binge carbs. One week after the appointment I was 172. Wow. So I started weighing myself every Tuesday. This Tuesday I am 175. Still down a pound from 21 weeks and feeling so much less bloated. I’m measuring 2 weeks ahead as well, so I’m hoping my changes result in the kind of control I need.
Today I’m treating myself to cheesy eggs and some fries for breakfast. Cheat meal of the week 🤤
