BCBS Anthem Ultrasound Insurance???

Hey ladies. Could any of you who have BCBS Anthem insurance tell me what the coverage is like for ultrasounds? And maternity coverage in general?? Thanks!

It depends on your coverage. Mine covers all ultrasounds and maternity costs at 100%, but it’s a premium employer plan so the plans vary greatly. Anthem’s website is wonderful though, and you can get details on your coverage as well as a cost estimate without having to call. It’s very detailed.

Depends on your specific plan. Mine only covered 2 ultrasounds (dating ultrasound and 20 week anatomy scan) since I wasn't high risk. All prenatal care was lumped into one big bill along with my hospital bill for me to pay at the end. Ended up being around $3500 total for my share, IIRC.
