cry it out method ?

my son is 4 months and we are transitioning him into his crib from rock and play, can we do the cry it out method or is it to early. hes not screaming but yelling kind of.

I believe that is too young to self soothe per information provided via parenting books. 
With that said, I’m a firm believer that you cannot spoil a baby & I wouldn’t consider doing the cry it out method myself. But if you’re going to do it I’d recommend trying the transition during the day with naps & work your way up to night times. Good luck with whatever you choose!

6 months is when u should start. 
Before then baby NEEDS you to be close and cuddle. 
4 months is way too early and ur basically just torturing them.

I personally would not do it that early.  I don’t know if I will use that method but if I do my child will a year or older if I do.  I’m pretty on the fence about it in general.

A grizzle is fine. I’d go in for a scream - you’ll know what your baby can handle

thank you guys he fussed for about 5 mins and is sleeping lol but I definitely wont start this early I just hope he starts sleeping in it with no hassle lol
