Still not walking?

My son turned one on the 2nd July and he’s still not walking. 
He can stand alone unassisted. He’s taken over 10 steps in a row before. It’s almost like he knows how and just doesn’t feel like it. 
Anyone else’s baby doing this?

My son gets scared. He’ll hold on to just a finger or rest his hand on my thigh and walk all over the place but the second he realizes what he’s doing, he panics and lowers himself carefully to the ground. He does the same thing when standing. He can stand for up to a minute straight but the minute he realizes he’s not holding on to anything, he freaks out. He’s never fallen or injured himself so it’s not like he’s got anything to be scared of. Idk. I read somewhere that it takes a while for the first baby to start walking/talking 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son has only just started pulling himself up on things, so I think he’s ages from starting to walk. All baby’s are different and do things in there own time. Some are lazier then others..... just like mine lol. 
They say not to worry until 18-24 months.

My son still can’t stand unassisted for more than a split second, he’s very cautious.  I lose sleep over it, but everyone tells me not to worry about it 🤷🏼‍♀️.

mine took first steps on July 7th and then didnt take anymore until after her bday on July 30th. the past week or so she will be holding on to something and take off walk across the room she doesnt always make it but she will only do it if she wants to. I can't stand her up and try to get her to walk cuz she will just scream and sit down. her pediatrician said not to worry the longer she waits to take off the fewer accidents. that she is just more cautious of walking and it's a good thing we know she can walk cuz we have seen her do it but she has very little interest in it since she can crawl to get where shes going
