When do they stop being such assholes?
You guys already know about the littermates I adopted.

Karma 💖

Frost 💙
They turned 7 weeks old on Monday. And they’re such assholes, and some of the things I really think they do on purpose.
First things first, we’re working on potty training. Obviously there’s accident after accident, however they do know that outside is where we’re supposed to use the potty. And they use the potty outside every time.

Karma pees a lot, which is strange. She’s a female, so I don’t think she could be “marking her territory”, but google says it’s possible. We’ll take her outside, and she’ll pee. But when we bring her inside she’ll pee again in the carpet.
They also really enjoy chewing up their puppy pad. My boyfriend got onto them earlier for fighting too rough over a toy and they MOVED THE PUPPY PAD and SHIT IN THE SPOT IT WAS IN. 🙄🤦🏻♀️
They know what no means, but sometimes they refuse to actually listen. 😫 And sometimes they know when they’ve done wrong, and they’ll hide underneath the couch so I can’t scold them.
Earlier today, I caught Karma pooping in the carpet. I immediately stopped her, scolded her and took her outside so she could finish. I brought her back inside, and I was getting their food ready when Frost decides to poop in the SAME EXACT spot right after I cleaned it and bleached it. 😭🤦🏻♀️. Then, he tried to poop again. I caught him, stopped him, tried to take him outside and all he wanted to do outside was play.

Usually they take turns being “asshole of the day”, but I guess they decided today was special and they were both gonna contribute.
Edit: Some of you guys can really get off my ass about having my puppies at 7 weeks. I’ve had them since they were almost 5 weeks old. Their mother dried up and could no longer feed them. I took them home, I bought puppy formula and I babied them until they showed me they didn’t need it anymore. As far as “whooping” them, I will scold & praise my pups however I feel is necessary. I am not beating them. I’m not even hurting them. A light whooping has never hurt a dog or a child. It gets their attention & lets them know what they’re doing is wrong. Back off people unless you know the full backstory. You’re making yourselves look like idiots. 🙄
