When should I test? Help!

Had a miscarriage July 28th, hormones went back to zero very soon [comfirmed by doctor) pregnancy symptoms we're going away but recently I feel as they are coming back. I started testing for ovulation a few days after MC & tests were hardly visible meaning I had no LH surge at all, over the days they started getting darker, still can't believe body started ovulating so soon though I know is very common. AF is due in about 4 days, I'm terrified to test early, based on baby dance hubby & I had when should I test? Thank you Picture below.
