$40 a day babysitting cont.

That post was mine. I took on a babysitting job a week ago. We had originally agreed on $50 a day because I’m trying to be nice. Well then she talked to her husband and he wanted to pay me $375 by weekly. I asked for $400 because I really didn’t want to lose the job. It’s two girls. One is 4 and the other is 2 and let me tell you, they’re a lot of work. I also have my 10 month old son and I’m pregnant.

Now a little background her husband is an E7 in the army and she’s a nurse at a federal prison, so they’re not broke by any means.

Should I give her two weeks to find another sitter and suck up this shitty pay until she can or just tell her I can’t watch them anymore?

And to clarify, I get paid every two weeks. So for example this two weeks, I’ll be working 10 days which works out to be $40 a day. I’m sure some two weeks I’ll work more days which will make it even less per day.
