Anemia

Does anemia develop or are you just born with it?

I'm asking because I have a lot of the symptoms but the last time I went to my doctor my iron was low but low enough to be considered anemic.

It's time for another appointment and the symptoms have gotten worse. Even my coworkers say I need to get it checked out because I like the thermostat on 75-80 degrees in the summer (I get cold sooo easily!)
