Ya’ll my SIL lies non-stop! She’s making it hard to be friends with her...

You guys.

My SIL lies about the silliest things. Big things, small things.

I feel like she hates me because when she’s not lying she’s trying to outdo me.

When I announced I was pregnant she also announced she was pregnant... turns out she wasn’t, she had just eaten a rotten whopper from Burger King 🙄

I can never have a normal conversation with her ever.

The weird thing is I like her. She’s a nice person but I can’t take the lying. And she’s the type to argue with you until she’s blue in the face so there’s no point in trying to make her admit she’s wrong.

It’s not just this one example. I have 3 years of lying... wish she could just be straight with me..

And btw, she works at a call center, she does have a bachelors in science but I 100% know she’s not going to medical school. She would have told me right away and this text was casually within a conversation we were having for about 2 hours 🙄. And by the sound of it, it doesn’t seem like she even knows how the process works.
