Yes looks like a cold sore. Don’t share drinks, kiss, etc. when you have that sore it’s highly contagious but will go away in a few days

Cold sores are a form of herpes. 
But I would guess a cold sore. There is am otc uou can take to help clear it up. 
also, never do oral while having a cold sore.

Kinda looks like a cold sore. & a cold sore is herpes. It’s hsv1. But the fact that it went away the next day seems strange. I don’t think cold sores come & go like that.
