Menstrual cups?

I wanna try a cup, but im 13 so i dont know how yo talk about it. Also im kinda nervous about them. Idk why tho

That's when I started using one too!  Just talk to your mom about it & explain that it's an environmental option you'd like to try out.  Plus period cups are better for u than tampons because they don't dry u out. And u can leave then in for up to 12 hrs which is much better than most pads & tampons which u can't leave in that long.  Or dont tell your mom 😂  Make SURE you get the smaller kind of cup (they usually have larger ones for post birth moms/older women).  Be calm and do your research on ways to use it 👍💕 good luck!

First of all I get you, I'm 14 and the biggest thing is... Do you think your mom wants you to? Also I feel like it's not really necessary for me a tampon works wonders

If you're not ready for a full on cup yet, Walgreens sells disposable ones called softcups and it's a good way to try out a cup without fully committing. Also convenient for someone in school who needs to use public restrooms. Since they're soft, they're also probably going to be more comfortable to wear for someone as young as you. Idk about you, but I couldn't even wear tampons comfortably until I was in my 20s, and I wear a cup exclusively now.
