Tummy time?

When did you start tummy time with your little one? How old were they??

We started right away, but just did it with her laying on my chest at first. We didn’t move to the floor until 2-3 weeks.

We started at 1 week and 4 days. They told us when we left the hospital that we could start when ever we wanted.

They say you can start right as soon as baby comes home. You just have to supervise well. My baby has been doing it since 5 days old. First in just a minute or two increments, now we do it for about 10 or so minutes at 2 months old

Right away! Even being chest to chest with you leaned back slightly is still yummy time while newborn.

We started when my little ones belly stump fell off, we tried it while he still had it and it started bleeding a bit so we waited till it fell off so about a week and a half :)

My doctor said the newborn is too young. We’ve tried a few times because we know he’s getting stronger. But only until he’s ready to be done
