Help with earache

Ive seen my Dr 3-4 times in the passed two months. Due to frequent sore throat. Faringitis/ tonsillitis.. been on antibiotic for those passed two months. Ofcourse only taking the antibiotic for up to 7 days. I feel a relief but than a week after i start with the same symptoms again. He also mentioned that i had a double ear infection and now my left ear is killing me. The antibiotics are not helping or getting rid off the infection. Ear drops dont do anything anymore. Does anyone know of any home remedies? Please help im in pain and i dont want to go to the ER for an earache. Thank u dolls
