First trimester insomnia
So it's 5am and I'm sitting here, having woken up an hour ago, wondering how I can improve the quality of my sleep. I have come to the conclusion that:
1. I need a pregnancy pillow already - I have a back ache from lying on my side. Might have something to do with my obscenely large breasts.
2. I might need to sleep separately from my loving husband. He twitches, talks in his sleep and randomly wakes up in the middle of the night to randomly look around the room only to lie back down again as if nothing ever happened.
I slept poorly the night before because of the heat (which seems to radiate off my husband) and now I'm close to tears trying to understand why I can't sleep these days. I really don't want to sleep separately from him but I am struggling. Is anyone else going through this? Has anyone else decided to sleep separate from their other half during their pregnancy?
