Is my period early or is this normal??

Hi all quick question as I’m really not sure what’s happening.... I had my second MTX injection last Friday and on Monday my bloods had dropped from 5700 Friday to 3400 Monday so there is no way I would be back to 0 already surely? However I’m experiencing my normal period like symptoms along with the start of what looks like period bleeding? Is it too early for my period or is it just the injection? How long did it take others to start their periods after the injection? Thank you for any help☺️💜

Hey, sorry for your loss. Thats a good drop in your numbers. I’ve had 2 injections recently too, it’s a tough time. I would doubt that your numbers are 0 yet but you could be lucky as I’ve read some people drop quickly. It’s taken mine 2 weeks to go from around 3000 to 1080. And expect it to take a few weeks to go down to 0. I think you need to have confirmation of hcg is 0 and then I think it’d be a few weeks until your period is due. I could be wrong as everyone different. It’s likely to be bleeding from the effects of the injection until you hit 0. Hopefully that’s soon for you x

Sorry for your loss. I had one injection and doc said I’ll continue to bleed for a few weeks until I’m back to 0. I’m also experiencing period symptoms but that’s still technically pregnancy symptoms. Won’t have a normal period until after you are at 0.
