Can babies sense experience?

Question

My mom has a theory that babies can sense when they are around more experience parents/caregivers; that they can somehow sense that new moms don’t have a clue what they’re doing and are more fussy. Thoughts?

No they cant  they  can sense when you are overwhlemed or if someone is calm an happy but no first time mom even if baby sat alot only know what there doing to an eatent and each baby is different. Something may work for one but but not other thats why we learn pur selfs and learn our baby

No you get what you give. If you don't know what you are doing your going to have a cranky baby.

If you are nervous, you may make baby cry.. I think they can tell from your heartbeat? Not sure. When my son was an infant, he seemed to be able to sense that my husband was anxious.

I don't think they can sense experience, however they can sense how comfortable you are and if you're happy to be around them and interact with them. Any child, infant or grade schooler will gravitate towards and be more calm in the presence of someone who genuinely likes kids.

Probably not 100% but I do think people without experience give off a vibe, like when you first meet someone and you instantly know you don't care for them
