Baby doesnt calm down for daddy!!!

So I'm going back work tomorrow morning and I am extremely nervous about it. My Fiance and I recently just had a baby, who is now about 2 months old, I have pretty much been by my babys side all the time as Im ebf. The issue is, is that our baby doesnt not calm down for his daddy at all and my fiance gets pretty easily upset by this and trys to pass him off as quickly as possible to get the little one to calm down since he "cant deal with it." How can my fiance get our baby to calm down and how can I help with that? This is extremely concerning to me. *Note: My Fiance is a third shift worker (11pm-7am) and I work (7:30-2:30 but for now just 10-2:30) so hes always alseep during the day when baby and me are up.
