HCG Injections for very low count

Hello! Doc just prescribed HCG injections for my husband. In May, after testing, his T was at 250, FSH was at 27, and SA showed 10,000 sperm/ml. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. Doc prescribed anastrozel (estrogen blocker) and three months later his T increased nicely, but SA showed ZERO! Fast forward to now, repeat SA Showed improvement everywhere, motility, progressive motility but could was only back to 10,000. IVF is not an option for us financially, and we already have one child together (8 years ago). HCG is crazy expensive, but we’re willing to give it a go. Anyone heard of this working?
