Can a man sign/agree to something to stop him asking for future contact with his child?

My ex is vile, and we broke up when I was pregnant and he doesn’t want to be involved. I don’t want him involved either, he’s not a good person. 
Is there any form of agreeement in the UK he could sign legally with wavers his parental rights in the future? I don’t want child support as I think it’s unfair to pay for something you didn’t want, I just want to know he can’t ask to see my son in a few years. When he’s born he won’t be on the birth certificate.

Even if his name isn’t on the birth certificate he can still try to get visitation or custody. My friend isn’t on his son’s birth certificate and he took his ex to court and was granted visitation and his son gets to stay with him on certain weekends. Granted this is in the US and I’m not sure UK rules are different. I would assume there is a form he could sign his rights away though

As long as his name isnt on the birth certificate he cant do nothing about about my friend is going through something similar. But the baby daddy is going to trail for jail but wants to fight her even tho me and her both know he wont win .

Im in the US, but I’m going to suggest you ask an attorney. Here, if a mother doesn’t list the father, he can later take her to court for a paternity test. Maybe an attorney can help y’all draw up papers relinquishing him of any rights before the baby is born. That way he can’t ever come back for visitation/custody.
