Proud of myself 💪🏼

Today I went to a colleague’s leaving lunch before her maternity leave. I didn’t have to go, obviously, but she’s a lovely girl and I wanted to be there for her. She suffered a loss before her current pregnancy and she’s been lovely to me since I told her my news, really positive and an ear to listen. She’s routing hard for our rainbow baby which is so sweet.

As I got there, one of my best friends text me saying she was thinking of me and a hug was waiting for me when I got back to the office 😍 I’m a lucky girl to have such wonderful friends.

I know going to a lunch wasn’t a huge deal but for me, it was. Being around big bumps and people celebrating babies is HARD when you’re grieving your baby, I’m sure you all know how it feels!

I just wanted to come on here and document my little win.
