Late period but getting a bfn

My period is two days late with no signs of showing up anytime soon but I keep getting a bfn! I’m still holding out a little hope that af won’t show and I’ll get my positive soon. Has anybody ever missed a period but not gotten their bfp until days later?? Give me some hope ladies!
