VBAC or Repeat C-section

I had to be induced for low fluids and IUGR at 40 weeks with baby #1. Cervix was 1cm. Meconium in bag of waters. Given Pitocin after failed cook catheter. I pushed 4 hours. They recommended a c-section after that time period due to possible narrow pelvis and dips in heart rate. The doctor on call and nurse could see her hair. My daughter was only 5.10 lbs and my height is 5’1. Has anyone tried for a VBAC with this similar situation? What was your result? I dread having another c-section.
