does my 6 month old need a helmet?

this is my 6 month hold when sleeping he refuses to sleep on his right side...do you think he needs a helmet or will it go away on it's own? he can sit up even stand with the help of the couch or gate. he is only on his head during the night of 10 hrs and 2  2hr naps during the day. unless we go out and he is I. his car seat....I really dont want to put him in a helmet....what do you think?

My 6 month old has a little bit of a flat head. We asked the doctor at his wellness check and he said that since he is sitting up it should round out. He said not to be concerned. When he sleeps he ends up sleeping on his tummy all night.

My 7 month old has been in a helmet for about 2 months now. It’s been a pretty easy process  but I would definitely just talk with your doctor! We were more concerned with jaw alignment and facial asymmetry. But also trust your momma instinct...you know your little one best :)
