help people? what should I do..

I have worn my mum's engagement ring for almost 5 years.. And have never took it off. Now that I've fell pregnant and put alot weight on, and I swell sometimes.. the ring no longer fits..but it's still on my finger lol!!the last thing i want to do.. is cut it off although I'm not to sure if that's the only choice I have?? is their any chance I could keep it on on till I'm not pregnant and the swelling is down a bit more to try get it of or am I best just cutting it off?

It would not budge at all and best thing to do was cut it off. I'm going to keep the ring in a memory box ... :) but safe to say it was a good idea to cut it of lol!
