Okay y’all Owlet smart sock or ergo baby carrier?

My husband said I can buy something a little upscale than our original budget so I was thinking. Either to buy a USED owlet smart sock which will still come to about $160 or a ergo baby carrier? Around $140

Ergo. The owlet can make you worry more than you should about baby. Unless you have a premie, they’re not needed.

My son has a heart murmur and two holes in his. His pediatric cardiologist, one of the best o;the entire east cost, advised us to NOT get it. I’d go with the ergo baby if I was in your position

Once upon a child for your ergo. It’ll probably be like $15 and never used. Ours was a gift but was on sale at target for $50. I like our ergo carrier a lot but would splurge on the monitor and thrift on a carrier bc so many ppl get them and don’t use them.

I have that carrier and LOVE it and it’s good on their hips. I love using it to take my baby everywhere! I never use a stroller or anything else. But a lot of my other mommy friends rarely use their carrier and prefer strollers. If you choose the carrier then you need to commit to using it so you don’t regret getting it. On the other site I opted not to get the owlet however there’s been so many times at night when I’d zoom in really far on the monitor and not be able to see my baby breathing and I’d get up and go check to make sure she’s breathing 😭 I’ve lost a lot of sleep doing that. It would be very nice to know her heart is still beating at any time rather than go poke my baby because I can’t see her breathing 😭 with that said, in all reality sids is rare and the owlet has not been proven to prevent sids. If you choose the carrier just commit to it!😊

I voted the Owlet personally but wanted to tell on that my ergo I got used off Amazon for $15! Just keep watching the used section and you may get a deal! Also, I have bought carriers off Facebook marketplace and never paid more than $40.
