Mom shaming/bashing

I was at work yesterday 8-4:30 and when I was washing my hand before I left I heard two of my residents mom shaming me alone with four or five other working moms. Now I listened before I left because maybe I was hearing it wrong but I was pretty pissed and it’s ridiculous. If your a mom and you don’t work you get shamed. If your a mom and you do work you get shamed. Frankly I would feel like a bad person if I made my SO pay for everything. I work as cna/nar. I’m working on getting my rn. My parents didn’t raise me to settle on things. My parents raised me to be a hard working adult and if I didn’t like something I had the power to change it. I’m sorry if things have changed from 40-50 years ago. You can still work and be a great mom.
