Twelve month check in

Please read before you judge the photo! That is the reason for this post.
My PP recovery was extremely challenging. I had a lot of pain and discomfort, and was very unwell. I ended up becoming 8kg lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight, and I didn't have 8 kg to loose! After being on bed rest for 6 months, I turned to exercise to help my body recover and very slowly get moving again.
People comment and say how good I look, and how lucky I am to have just 'bounced back' but they have no idea....
I have significant scaring from tearing and an episiotomy which has left me disfigured. I have a prolapse and struggle with continence. Some of my pelvic floor muscles are permanently tense so I constantly feel like I have a cramp. And I suffer from PND.
When people say 'your lucky' I feel like saying - am I? Really? Why?
I would much rather feel confident, feel happy, be able to go to the toilet, and not be in pain, than have a flat stomach.
I am lucky to have a gorgeous baby boy, and a beautiful family. That is all that should really matter.
Does anyone else find this? Am I over reacting?
