My LO is in the NICU and I can’t be there 24/7 to put him to the breast. 
This is so painful and I feel like such a failure.
Today was the first day I pumped since my milk hadn’t come in. It’s stuck in my breasts ugh! They’re red/hard/painful 😢
I’m taking ibuprofen. I’m using lanolin.

When you take a shower run your breast under the warm water and massage it. It should help. Try pumping every 3 hrs. Drink some mothers milk tea it will help your supply go up. Or eat some oatmeal it will also help. Make sure u stay hydrated. I know they say to pump 10 to 15 minutes but sometimes I go longer to make sure i got all the milk out. When your pumping massage your breast too. Stay hydrated too.
