Does your spit get thick or frothy when you have sex?

A lil' TMI, but Whenever my boyfriend penetrates me, and starts to go slowly, my spit gets super thick and I produce so much of it. If we tongue kiss I have to swallow it or else I usually (accidentally) end up snowballing it in his mouth. And when we pull away from one another, there's usually a string of saliva connecting us two.

Now this usually happens id say 7/10 times we have sex so idk.

I added the frothy option because it may happen to others, but to me it only gets really thick. It's still clear, but thick.

I'm just curious because neither he nor I know why it gets like that. According to him his spit doesn't get thick like mine does, but I've honestly never taken the time to notice.
