When people ask how old your baby is

My daughter was born 9 weeks early she is now almsot 2 months old. Spent 5 weeks in NICU and came home weighing 3lbs 14oz.

She was obviously very tiny. She is currently the size of a newborn. But is growing like crazy.

I don't know if anyone else gets mad when your in a store and someone asks how old your baby is and you tell them and they look at you like you don't feed your child. Then I have to explain she was born weighing 2 lbs 12oz and was 9 weeks early. It really irritates me. She's growing just fine actually she's becoming quite the chunky monkey.

I hate that I even have to explain to people that she was born early because I don't want to get judged for how tiny my baby is. She's my little fighter! Actually both my girls are. I went through this same thing with my older daughter who has downs. She was borning with 2 holes in her heart and at age 3 she was the size of a 1 year old and had reconstructive surgery on her hear and now at 9 years old she is just simply amazing.
