So I'm 17 and i feel like my mom tries her best to avoid me. I feel like when she looks at me, she sees the mistakes she made as a child.

I'm about to start taking birth control (for my acne and irregular periods) and i feel like she's only allowing me to do it because she doesn't want me to be a teen mom like she was.

Should i try to build our relationship? Or just leave it be? She's about 6 months pregnant so i feel like adding to her stress will make her even more upset with me.
