Weight gain with the IUD?

Have any of you ladies had the IUD put in after you've had a baby and gain weight instead of lose??

Answer

I haven’t had children but I have put on weight since getting my iud put it. I have also been working out more and eating well. I also know it’s not muscle because of where I’m gaining the weight (on my face, back of arms, upper back/bra area). I’m getting it taken out on Tuesday for a couple of reasons but I can keep you updated on whether I drop any weight or not.

I had a baby and 6 weeks later lost all the baby weight. Got my iud and gained it all right back the next month or two.
