Did your membrane sweep (at 39+ weeks) help induce labor??

Just curious. Having mine done at 39+4 next week (FTM) and wanted to know the chances of it helping labor start??

I’m in the same boat!! This is my first baby. I’m having a membrane sweep at 39w2d...baby is due 9/17 too! I’m really hoping it’ll kickstart labor bc I’m ready to not be pregnant anymore lol! Keep us updated!!!

Had mine at 40+1 my daughter came at 40+4 but I honestly think that she would have come then anyway. I don’t think the sweep assisted at all. I won’t be getting one this time round 30+5 at the minute! It hurt so much more than I expected and regretted having it done tbh!

Had mine done at 11 AM that morning and had my daughter at 9:45 that evening 🤗

I said yes but at 39 weeks that was my second sweep

I got mine done at 39 weeks exactly. Had the sweep at 8 in the morning and had my little guy at 1:34 the next morning!

I had mine done at 40 weeks and went into labor at 41 weeks. I lost my mucus plug a day later.
