Calling all fixer upper lovers *LONG*

Bathroom #2 renovarions have started. Lath and plaster for the win πŸ˜’ though I do LOVE our 100 year old farm house I may just have a heart attack with this project. Not sure WHY I'm so nervous, but boy oh boy am I literally feeling the tummy rumbles as we tare down walls..

We have done A TON of renovations so far. So let me just share a little before and after!

*I'm kinda proud of HOW much work we have done*

We bought the house for 50,000.. It came with multipule holes in the roof, holes in the ceilings upstairs, mice, mice, and bees, and wasps, and about 13 years worth of trash...

Kitchen Before: we already took out AT LEAST 40 bags of trash..

Kitchen now:

Left Living room right dining room:

*living room was used as a bedroom for 13 years. Included paneling, hole in the ceiling, a make shift closet and cat urine soaked carpet 😷

Dining room now: just made my crate shelf Friday evening 😁

Also bought the hutch from a thrift/antique store and re did myself too!

Oh, the floors are made from whiskey barrels 😁 when the disterally closed down a few homes in the area bought barrels and made floors!

Living room now! Which was once the bedroom

We do have 2 front doors.. πŸ˜‚ it's great! And my dad made the shelf for us! He is so so talented.

Master before/ now: original hard pine floors!

*ft. My nosey pup πŸ˜‚

Mud room: before / now

The white wall in this room is the original siding/ window/ molding!! Its been very well preserved 😍😍 such an amazing touch of history.

Upstairs family room: then and now

So guys. This room Will be changing! Again.. Lol. The door with the towel is the "granny bath" 😳 that whole corner wall is compeltly coming out. In will go a new TO CODE wall which will have a barn style door for the bathroom and shiplap on that entire back wall 😍

We have done this work ourselves!! Without help financially from anyone.(which I'm so proud of us for because we own more in SL than on our house. Which was totally our choice, but they really are a load to carry..) My parents live too far away to really help with construction stuff but my dad is really helping with the bathroom renovation ! Hes going to teach me how to dry wall and i will take it over! *dont know how my husband puts up with me * πŸ˜‚

Anyways. I just wanted to share with someone.
