diatomaceous earth?

Does anyone give diatomaceous earth to there dog?? I've heard its good for fleas and worms just wondering if it was actually true I want to try it on my dogs but wanted to check here first about it.

You can rub it on your dog. Idk about giving it to them. My grandpa used to be a vet and uses that stuff all the time. I’ll ask him about it real quick

Food grade level. Brushed it on the carpet and put it on the cats outside. Just keep them from breathing i too much. They’ll cough.

I've been wanting to get it but there's only one online shop that sells it here and they're always out of stock. I've heard such good things about it.

I have never given it to my dogs, but I have used it in my home and in my yard when we had a terrible flea problems a few years ago.
