How often do you give baby bath?

How often should you give a 3 month old a bath? Do you give more once in daycare or once they are crawling? Do you just use water or also soap?

We did twice a week until she started daycare and then bumped it up to 3 times a week. You can bathe as frequently as you want, but if you choose daily I wouldn’t use soap every time.

i think i was told by my doctor every 3 days unless they are going to daycare or out at the grocery store or something then it needs to be daily at least just getting rinsed and lathered and rinsed again

We do one every 2-3 days. There’s no real rule, but if you bathe daily, don’t use soap every day. Too much soap (and sometimes too often bathing) can cause skin irritation and dryness

1-2 times a week or if there is a big blowout mess. I’m a SAHM & we stay in a lot. I only use shampoo on her hair (she’s got her Daddy’s greasy hair) & water on her body. No lotions at all either. Her skin is as soft as can be. 😍 I make sure to keep neck, hands, & face clean between baths.

I bathe my 12 week old every 3 days unless she needs one earlier. On the in-between days I wipe her down with a wet washcloth before bed.
