Clomid help!!!

Hi guys I have PCOS, I get my periods on my own but don’t ovulate. Ive also been on metformin for years. I started my first month of clomid on August 27 I took on day 5-9 so I was supposed to ovulate on day 16-17 and I’m on cycle day 20 and no LH surge yet :( I’m very upset because I was very sick from the clomid and am worried about taking it another month. How long did it take you ladies to ovulate? And how long to get pregnant? Any advice will help thank you :)
