Always a friend, never the girlfriend

So I’m 21 and I’ve never had a boyfriend. I have always had guy friends but it’s hard as their girlfriends come before you ( most of the time) and if they are single they make it obvious that your a friend. I like having guy friends but I wish that I could find a boyfriend and not always be just a friend. Girls can definitely get friend zoned by guys. Just see some of the messages I’ve gotten from guy friends ( they are great friends, that I’m not interested in dating, so it’s funny reading their messages sometimes).
