Is it selfish??

Is it selfish to continue having chilren knowing the father won't be around?

If the mother enjoys being a mom and is a wonderful mother. She slept with her ex whom she already has a child with and now she suspects she's pregnant.

She's a mother of 3 so far by 3 different baby's daddy's & the 4th child (if pregnant) will be fathered by the 3rd baby's daddy. The children age 11, 5, & 3 so far

Has a great career, stable, and if necessary can afford it on her own but I assume child support will be requested for this baby as well.

Thoughts?

The 1st & 3rd fathers are around. I didn't suggest anything about them not being around. She's beens seeing the 3rd baby's daddy on and off for about a year and now possibly pregnant by him again. They pay child support but it doesn't automatically mean they're absent. She's a really good friend of mine and I'm only concerned about the seeing each other on and off...What if he later decides to leave. He's neutral about another child maybe because he isn't sure if she'd have him pay child support
